Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data spinraslot.uk collects, why it is collected, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be scrolled past, and it reflects how this particular site works rather than how a generic template assumes a site works.
The relevant law is the UK General Data Protection Regulation together with the Data Protection Act 2018. Under that framework we act as the data controller for the information described below, which means we decide what is collected and why, and we are answerable for it.
What this site does not collect
Because this is an information site with a free demo and no cashier, several categories of data that a gambling operator would hold do not exist here at all.
- No account registration, so no usernames, passwords or profile data.
- No payment information of any kind — no card numbers, no bank details, no wallet identifiers.
- No identity documents, since there is nothing here that requires verification.
- No real-money play history, because no real-money play is possible on this site.
- No special category data as defined by UK GDPR.
Stating this explicitly is more useful than listing safeguards for data that is never gathered in the first place. The smallest amount of data held is the strongest protection available, and this site is built to hold very little.
What is collected, why, and on what basis
| Data | Why it exists | Lawful basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contact form entries | To answer your message | Legitimate interests | 24 months from last contact |
| Email address | To reply to you | Legitimate interests | 24 months from last contact |
| Analytics data | To understand which pages are used | Consent | Up to 14 months |
| Cookie preferences | To remember your choice | Legitimate interests | 12 months |
| Server log data | Security and fault diagnosis | Legitimate interests | Up to 30 days |
Two rows deserve a note. Analytics runs on consent, which means nothing is measured until you accept analytics cookies in the banner — declining leaves the site fully functional and simply leaves us without the statistics. Server logs, by contrast, are generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure and cannot be switched off without switching off the site; they are kept briefly and used only to diagnose faults and abuse.
Third parties involved
A small site still depends on services operated by other companies, and each of them processes some data on our behalf or on their own account.
| Service | Role | What it processes |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting provider | Serves the pages and stores site files | IP address, request details, in server logs |
| Google Analytics 4 | Measures page usage in aggregate | Anonymised usage data, only with consent |
| Email provider | Delivers and stores replies to enquiries | Your email address and message |
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising or profiling. Where a provider is based outside the UK, transfers rely on the safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
UK GDPR gives you a set of rights over your own data. Exercising one of them requires nothing more than an email saying which right you are using and what it applies to.
| Right | What you can ask for | Practical limit |
|---|---|---|
| Access | A copy of the data we hold about you | None; this is the most straightforward request |
| Rectification | Correction of anything inaccurate | Applies to factual data |
| Erasure | Deletion of your data | Does not override a legal retention duty |
| Objection | That we stop processing on legitimate interests | We must stop unless we show overriding grounds |
| Withdraw consent | That analytics measurement stops | Takes effect immediately, not retrospectively |
| Portability | Your data in a transferable format | Applies to data you actively supplied |
Requests are answered within one month, which is the statutory period. There is no charge. Naming the specific data and the specific action turns a request into an outcome; a general request produces a clarifying question first.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, please raise it with us first at [email protected], since most issues can be resolved directly and quickly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, and you may do so without contacting us first.
Security and changes to this policy
The site is served over an encrypted connection, access to the mailbox is restricted, and the data held is deliberately minimal. No system is immune to compromise, and we make no claim otherwise; what we can state is that the volume of data at risk here is small by design.
Where this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described in a short note at the top rather than buried in a revised clause, because a policy that changes silently is not a policy anyone can rely on.
